| On September 15, Roberts Pool was transformed into a romantic tropical paradise for the first annual Barefoot Ball.
Over 300 people attended to support the new playground fund we raised $25,550 - almost $20,000 in profit!
Catering by Michael provided a wonderful BBQ Buffet and incredibel desserts were donated by DiBartalos Bakery in Collingswood and Pretty Sweet Bakery in Westmont.
Attendees danced to the sounds of SoundEFX DJ's and we even had a limbo contest. The snack shop becamse our bar and festive lighted tents housed Margaritaville and Treasure Island - our silent auction headquarters. Lighting and rentals were donated by Four Seasons Rentals and the Scottish Rite under the direction of Jerry Chambers.

TOWN MEETING
Collingswood Community Center
Tuesday, June 5th at 6:30 PM
Please join us at the Collingswood Community Center on Tuesday, June 5th at 6:30 PM to discuss plans to upgrade and improve the current Knight Park Playground. We need your input and ideas on what you would like to see at the playground. Planning for the project has started and we anticipate completion by June 2008.
There are a variety of options available to us as a community and we would like to discuss the possible options with the users of Knight Park and the playground equipment. With your feedback we can make the improvements to the park so that the equipment meets the needs of the children of Collingswood for many years to come.
