PARTY ON POWELL benefits the playground!
Collingswood’s annual dance under the moonlight this year will have extra significance. The 2nd Annual Party on Powell charity dance will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the moon landing with the Moondance party on September 12 from 7 to 11 p.m..
The event continues the tradition of the Gala on the Ave and the Barefoot Ball from previous years. Both events have raised thousands to benefit good causes in the Borough. This year’s event - priced at $40 per person - will take place down Collingswood’s newest street, Powell Lane, by the LumberYard Condos.
Tickets include an open wine and beer bar (a cash cocktail bar will also be available) and food catered by every Collingswood restaurant. A silent and Chinese auction will raise money to benefit the Knight Park Playground Improvement Committee.
Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme and get creative, coming dressed as their favorite Martian or astronaut. The Collingswood Pops Orchestra will again be on hand to fill Powell Lane with music.

Individual tickets are $40 per person
$200 Level - 2 tickets, listing in the book, recognition on Collingswood.com and KnightParkplayground.com
$750 Level - A group or corporate table for 10: includes tickets, ad in the book, signage on table and donation listed on Collingswood.com and KnightParkplayground.com
$1500 - all listed above plus name on plaque at the playground and commemorative engraved picket at the playground
$2000 - VIP corporate table for 10, all listed above plus full page back cover ad
Tickets will be available soon at Borough Hall (678 Haddon Ave), 1st Colonial National Bank (1040 Haddon Ave) and at the Farmers’ Market in Collingswood on Saturday morning.

VOLUNTEER
1. We need volunteers to help solicit collect items for the Chinese auction and the silent auction. Any items will be greatly appreciated. CLICK HERE access the donation letter.
2. Volunteer to set up help the day of the event or help at the event itself.
4. Donate food, ice, beverages, moon and star-themed decorations or whatever! The more items we have donated the more money we can put towards the playground fund.
